Although I come from a background in biology/chemistry with a little marketing thrown in the mix, I’ve always had a fascination with real estate investing and had planned on doing more in the industry. After finishing up my dual masters in December 2019, with property rights and government regulations interesting me the most, I thought becoming a loan officer would give me a better education than reading blogs. Having had multiple discussions with Homestead owner, Jayson Hardie, I decided to take the leap into the mortgage world. I started my journey as a loan officer with Homestead Financial Mortgage in March 2020. Shortly thereafter, rates had dropped significantly and the refi boom was in full effect, giving me the best education I could hope for.

Answering my customers’ questions in a way they can understand and guiding them to the best options for their situation. I advocate for my customers and try my hardest to get every loan closed, even if there are large obstacles, and they have shown great appreciation for the extra effort. I try to make even the hardest loan look easy, taking stress off of the customer.
